# Users, roles and organization

> Your organization, the people in it, and what each role can do.

Everything in Amnify belongs to an organization. Sources, findings, knowledge, history and agent runs are isolated to it, and no organization can see another's data.

| Role | Can do |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner** | Everything a manager can do, plus rename the organization, and invite and remove people |
| **Manager** | Everything a user can do, plus connect, reconfigure and disconnect sources and integrations |
| **User** | Work on findings, answer questions, upload knowledge sources, request and approve remediation plans, create tickets, chat with Amy |

Owners invite by email and choose the role. An invitation link keeps its target organization through sign in, so an invited person lands in the right organization rather than being asked to pick one.

If you belong to several organizations, switch between them from the sidebar. Your session is bound to one organization at a time.

Sign in is single sign on. Amnify stores no passwords.
